Joshua Green



Born in Beeville, TX, Joshua Green is only son and oldest of 4 siblings. A natural born competitor, he took a liking to sports, especially football. Early on, his talents became apparent both academically and athletically. Raised in a single parent household, his mother eventually settled the family in San Antonio, TX where he attended Converse Judson High School. A standout football player, Joshua was a three year starter, and two time state champion. A 1995 HS graduate, Joshua earned himself a football scholarship to Oklahoma State University.


Education:

In 2001, Green graduated from TX A&M University at Kingsville, earning a BS in education with an emphasis health and kinesiology.


Professional Career:

Upon college graduation, Green returned to his high school alma mater and spent 5 years teaching and coaching for Judson ISD. In 2007 Mr. Green decided to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams. Since then, he has successfully built several businesses including a real estate investment company, a daycare center, and three restaurants. Green is the owner of The South Chicken & Waffles restaurant located in San Antonio, TX.


In The Community:

Mr. Green is passionate about the San Antonio business community. He serves as mentor and consultant to local business owners. His philanthropic efforts include Christmas bicycle giveaways, Thanksgiving turkey drives, and youth sports fundraising, to name a few.


Personal:

Joshua has 3 children; Anaya, a graduate of UT at Austin. Joshua Jr., a graduate of MacArthur HS in San Antonio, and Josiah who attends elementary school. In his free time, Joshua enjoys spending time with family, dining at local restaurants, and traveling.



Michael Clarkson



Commonly known as “Mike”, Clarkson grew up impoverished in Washington, D.C. At a young age, he realized that his roadmap to success would come through an unwavering determination, high academics, and sports. In 1979, in search of better opportunities his mother relocated their family from bullet-ridden D.C. to the bright lights of Las Vegas, Nevada. In Vegas, Clarkson rose to become Nevada’s top-ranked amateur boxer and a 5-time Golden Glove champion falling just short of making the 1984 US Olympic boxing team.


Education:

In 2011 Clarkson earned his BA in Business Administration with a specialization in Hospital Management from St Leo University


Professional Career:

In 1985, Clarkson joined the United States Air Force. His successful military career was highlighted when he received commendations from Gen. Norman H. Schwarzkopf (Commander, U.S. Central Command) and General Colin Powell (Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff) for his distinguished service and leadership during “Operation Desert Storm”. In 1995, after serving honorably for 10 years, Clarkson retired from military. Mike owns several businesses and is the Founder and President of C2C Consulting, a family structuring program aimed at indoctrinating NBA rookies and their families to the numerous pitfalls and nuances of the professional sports industry.


In the Community:

Over the years, Clarkson has devoted his time to serving the community as a trusted mentor, youth coach, motivational speaker, sports advisor, and devout philanthropist. After surviving a Stage 4 cancer scare in 2015, the Clarkson family launched the “JC Cares Foundation.” Their foundation contributes funds to support cancer patients and assist organizations that are fighting on the front lines to find a cure.


Personal:

Mike and his lovely wife Janie reside in San Antonio, TX. They are the proud parents of two adult sons Jordan and Bear along with one granddaughter Cali Rose. In 2014 Jordan Clarkson, was the 46th pick in the NBA Draft and was named to the NBA “All-Rookie” First Team, & 2020-21 NBA 6th Man of The Year. He currently plays for the Utah Jazz.



Bruce Chambliss



Bruce is the son of Retired Chief Master Sergeant Bruce E Chambliss Sr., and Pastor Deborah Chambliss. Raised in a military family, Bruce had the opportunity to live abroad, travel the world, and experience other cultures. As a child his father was relocated to Upper Heyford, England. While in England he fell in love with the culture, people, and best of all, football (soccer).


Education:

In 2006, Chambliss earned his BA in Criminal Justice, from Troy State University


Professional Career:

A standout out athlete, Chambliss played college football at Troy State, but eventually decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and Enlisted into the United States Airforce, where he served for 13 years with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia. After his career in the military, Chambliss relocated to San Antonio, where he owns several businesses, including Bayseas Seafood Restaurant and Legends Barbershop. He is also a Texas licensed real estate agent.


In the Community:

Over the years, Chambliss has devoted his time to coaching youth football with several organizations. He starred on the hit tv series, Friday Night Tykes, which aired on the Esquire Network. As a trusted mentor in the community, Chambliss advises and counsels aspiring entrepreneurs on business and economic opportunities. He also volunteers his time speaking at schools on the importance of education and integrity.


Personal:

Chambliss and his phenomenal wife and partner, Chasity, reside in San Antonio TX. They are the proud parents of six children and two grandchildren.



Lawrence Johnson



Early Years: Originally from Portland Oregon, Lawrence “LJ” Johnson graduated from Benson poly technical high where he was an exceptional student athlete. As a teenager LJ spent much of his time giving back to the community by tutoring younger students, participating in the big brother mentorship program, and feeding the homeless. Lawrence was also a junior deacon at his church. LJ was


Education:

Graduated in 1989 from the University of Cal Berkeley, with BS in Mechanical Engineering


Professional Career:

After college, LJ spent 3.5 years playing professional basketball abroad for the Brazilian national team. He later relocated to St. Louis MO, where he began his entrepreneurial career when he owned self-maintaining racquetball ball courts and a human labyrinth called The Woozs. As an engineer, Lawrence worked for E-controls designing wire harnesses for heavy lifting equipment and The Texas Lottery Commission in research and development.


In the Community:

LJ founded an organization called Back to Basic (B2B) teaching kids the fundamentals of basketball. He also volunteers for his church youth programs. LJ continues to assist the homeless by donating food, clothing, and working with rehabilitation programs.


Personal:

A devout family man, LJ spends much of his free time with his 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
